Dear Stakeholders,

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our esteemed Director of Field and Growth,  Joash Mango, who passed away on the 2nd of May, 2023. Joash served as a driving force behind our organization’s product development, providing vision and leadership for almost 1.5years at Cycle Connect. 

This news has been difficult for us all to process as Joash had become an integral leader at Cycle Connect. Joash was passionate about creating innovative agricultural finance models and products and that’s exactly what he did for the thousands of smallholder farmers we serve in northern Uganda.

We will be taking time to reflect on Joash’s legacy and the significant contributions he made to our organization and we are committed to continuing his vision as we move forward. 

Joash will be deeply missed by us all who had the pleasure of working with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Joash’s family and the entire staff during this very difficult time.
