Reduce extreme poverty:
Economic growth from agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa is 11x more effective at reducing poverty than any other sector (IFAD).
Financially include farmers:
82% of Ugandans rely on informal networks to secure credit. In many cases, our inclusive financing is a famers first step to building credit.
Increase income:
When used productively, all of our products have the ability to increase income--translating to increased access to critical resources and further economic opportunity for rural families.
Kick-start businesses:
1 in 3 customers start new businesses after getting their asset, and 75% of clients use the asset in their existing business.
Empower women:
Over 50% of our customers are women who are using their assets to invest in their family's future.
Increase efficiency:
25% of the world's most arable land is in Sub-Saharan Africa, but the region only accounts for 10% of global agricultural outputs (IFAD). Our products help farmers increase their productivity, in turn increasing their harvests.
