At Cycle Connect, our loans not only have a positive affect on the clients we work with but also have a strong impact on their families and their communities.
For every product we finance, we assume that product is also impacting five other people (average household size in Uganda) and sometimes even more. For example, our grinding machine loans can create access for an entire farming community if it is the only machine for miles.

IN 2019 WE'RE WORKING WITH CLIENTS LIKE
Adiyo Lilly and Odong Severino
Adiyo Lilly and Odong Severino are smallholder farmers in northern Uganda with fifty acres of very fertile land. Their journey with Cycle Connect began when Lilly applied for a bicycle loan. Her bicycle helped her with fetching water, transporting crops, and carrying charcoal to town to sell. After Lilly completed her loan, Severino decided to take an oxen & plow loan. With the Oxen, Lilly & Severino went from harvesting four acres to ten acres. Seeing how productive their oxen have been, Lilly decided to apply for another oxen loan with Cycle Connect to start an oxen rental business to further increase their income.
