JULIUS KIGUNDU

PARTNER AT JULIUS.K & COMPANY

Julius joined the Cycle Connect board in 2020, after stepping down as the company’s very own Head of Finance. Not only does Julius have a deep commitment and understanding of Cycle Connect through his leadership role within the organization, but he also has an additional 14 years of professional experience in East African financial institutes, including credit and ag-finance. Julius previously served as Head of Finance at Finca, a world-leading Micro-finance institution. He has an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University and is a certified CPA(U) accountant.

CHARLES KREITLER

DIRECTOR, NORTH AMERICA FINANCIAL SERVICES AT CODAT

Charles serves on the Cycle Connect board as Chair of the Development Committee. He is a director of North America FinancialServices at Codat. Charles specializes in software sales, account management and strategic planning with clients to grow market share, increase IT operational efficiency, improve security, and minimize operational risk.

MOLLY BURKE, CO-FOUNDER CYCLE CONNECT

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT CONNECTRN

Molly’s journey with Cycle Connect began in 2008 where Cycle Connect was founded as a student club at Bucknell University. Molly has led Cycle Connect from a start-up to a fully operational and scalable enterprise. She has taken the company from distributing 200 loans annually in 2014 to nearly 1,500 loans in 2018. Molly has more than doubled Cycle Connect’s funding in recent years and is preparing Cycle Connect for rapid growth and scaling. She is a graduate of Unreasonable East Africa accelerator and was awarded National Geographic Traveler of the Year for her work with Cycle Connect.

MUYAMBI MUYAMBI, FOUNDER OF CYCLE CONNECT

INVESTMENT OFFICER AT IFC

Muyambi is the Founder of Cycle Connect. He holds a dual degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.E.) and Economics (B.A.). from Bucknell University. Muyambi successfully secured seed funding for Cycle Connect from Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU) and presented the organization on stage at CGI in 2008. Muyambi continues to share his passion for development on numerous stages including conferences, institutions, high schools, universities.

 

 

WILLIAM MORROW, BOARD CHAIR

PRINCIPAL AT CHRISTCHURCH CAPITAL ADVISORS LTD.

Bill Morrow has served as the Chair of the Cycle Connect board since 2016. He is the principal of Christchurch Capital Advisors Ltd, providing advisory services to start-up private equity firms, and corporate finance advice to corporate clients. He has 36 years of experience in corporate finance and banking, development finance and private equity. Bill is currently a Trustee of Bucknell University where he holds the position of Vice Chairman.

 

 

ERICK DAVIS, CHAIR OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE

HEAD OF EQUITIES AT STIFEL EUROPE & KBW EUROPE

Erickson Davis is the Chair of the Finance Committee on the Cycle Connect board. His current title is the Head of European Equities at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Erick was the prior CEO of Autonomous Research, an independent research firm specializing in the financial services sector and fintech, which was sold to Alliance Bernstein in 2019. He joined Autonomous Research as a Partner in 2012 and served in various capacities in senior management before his appointment as CEO in 2017. During his tenure, he managed global heads of research, sales, and trading across European, U.S., and Asian businesses. He led the firm's push into fintech and successfully managed the implementation of its MiFID II strategy.

 

 

NATHANIAL PETERSON

VICE PRESIDENT STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AT BUSARA CENTER FOR BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICS

Nate is a behavioral economist, decision theorist, risk researcher, social enterprise and strategy advisor working in Kenya for over six years. Nate is currently the Vice President of Sales at Busara. He has an academic and professional background in agricultural economics, with a focus on farmers’ decision-making and risk-mitigation. He moved to Nairobi after his PHD in behavioral decision making and has been a long-term advisor of Cycle Connect.

KATHRYN DUTILE

BUSINESS MANAGER AT MICROSOFT

Kathryn has been on the Cycle Connect board since 2018. She has previously worked at Cycle Connect as our Chief Operating Officer and as the Managing Director of EarthEnable Uganda.Katy's work has scaled EarthEnable though multiple districts in Uganda driving them towards profitability. She is now a Business Manager at Microsoftfocused on consumer product marketing.


 

ADAM ROSENBERG

VICE CHAIR, PRINCIPAL AT AKIRE PROPERTIES

Adam Rosenberg has extensive experience focusing on the residential real estate sector. Prior to starting Akire Properties, Adam worked in various roles with the Durst Organization, a real estate developer based in New York City where he worked to source and acquire large scale development sites. Now, as a Principal at Akire Properties, he is able to contribute his work in building a model and team from scratch to apply to Cycle Connect.
